American Artstone got its start in a garage in Fairfax, Minnesota in 1914. Two years later, it moved into a "modern cement facility" in New Ulm, MN.
In 1998, American Artstone moved into a customized, state of the art, manufacturing facility where we continue to produce some of the finest Cast Stone and Architectural Precast in the country.
Artstone's approach to projects is to work with the architect/designer to
achieve the look that will give their project a uniqueness of its own. In the past we have been challenged with many
different shapes, conditions and colors. We pride ourselves on meeting those demands.
Artstone is a proud, active member of the
Cast Stone Institute, founded in 1927 to provide quality assurance through an in-plant inspection and certification program,
development of standardized tests and specifications and sponsoring research in materials and manufacturing methods.
